World of Whisky Appointed an Ardbeg Embassy

We are very proud to announce that World of Whisky has been invited to become an official Ardbeg Embassy – a privilege only extended to a handful of specialist whisky retailers around the world. We are the only retail outlet in Australia to be awarded this status, and after being in business for less than a year we are thrilled with this honour. 

What does being an Ardbeg Embassy mean? Firstly, we will always have a great range of the products available to sample in the shop, and to purchase on the shelves. We will also be having several special Ardbeg events and tastings. Whisky writer Jim Murray, in his Complete Guide to Whisky, described Ardbeg as ‘the greatest distillery to be found on Earth’. If you haven’t experienced this wonderfully complex Islay single malt, come in to the shop and make up your own mind!

The Embassy will be officially opened on Thursday 15 September.
