The World of Whisky is a specialist whisky store in Double Bay, Sydney, offering a complete whisky experience.

World of Whisky stocks a range of over 900 different expressions from all regions of Scotland, Ireland, Wales, Australia, New Zealand, Taiwan, USA, Canada, India, Israel, Netherlands and Japan. The majority of the whiskies are single malts, but there is also a selection of blends, grain whisky, bourbons and ryes.

The shop stocks several brands not currently available elsewhere in Australia, as well as the labels one would naturally expect to see in a whisky store. If you are a whisky connoisseur, a keen enthusiast, or simply want to increase your whisky knowledge and try something you have not ever experienced before, come to our world and talk to our specialist staff or drop us an email.

Events

World of Whisky has hosted over 12,000 people at in-store tasting events since 2010. Our team of experienced whisky specialists is available for corporate and private events in-store or at your chosen venue.

World of Whisky also started and organised The Whisky Show, the largest whisky consumer show in Australia, held in Sydney and Melbourne.

Our Team

Ivan

One of the founding partners of WOW, Ivan was relatively new to the whisky world but has since made up for it over the last 10 years. It has a become a particular passion and he likes nothing better than finding the right whisky for everyone, be it for a gift, collector, investor, general everyday quaffer, newbie or old-hand. He thrives on tracking down the hard-to-find unicorns and Dead Soldiers.

Ben

If you chat to Ben about whisky, you'll only be doing his wife a favour. As he says "the more I get to talk about whisky to customers all day, the less my wife has to hear about it all night." Ben is very knowledgeable and extremely passionate about whisky, especially when it comes to helping our customers find something new that suits their taste profile. He is an engaging and entertaining speaker, as those who have attended his whisky tastings have experienced.
