Aged for two decades in a single American oak ex-bourbon barrel, cask 4253.04, this rare release showcases the finesse and patience of long maturation on Tasmania's North West coast. This Tasmanian Single Malt has taken on near-mythical status around the distillery. From the moment Head Distiller Fiona Coutts tasted this precious nectar and had that “a-ha” moment, the whisky was set aside as Single Cask quality, bottled, and word spread quickly through the distillery.
