The third edition, The Beithir’s Tale 15 Years Old is the last of the
Anthology and has been aged for 15 years in special designer
charred bourbon casks, air-seasoned, heavily toasted and then
lightly charged.
COLOUR – Pale Straw
NOSE – Pungent, oily and spicy, rich notes of treacle
wrap around creosote and smoked herbs. Toasted
apples and raisins reveal a sweeter underbelly. With
water, eucalyptus and menthol burst forth as fennel
and pine trail behind.
TASTE – Astoundingly balanced, a sizzling mouthfeel
leads into peat smoke, coffee grits and currents.
Sweet lemon balsam entwines with smoked
mandarins, followed by a sharp, smoky tang.
FINISH – Finally, a long, meandering finish brings
with it subtle hints of vanilla and smoked butter.
Already an award-winner, The Beithir’s Tale has received Gold at both the International Spirits Challenge and the International Wine and Spirit Competition.

On the night, you'll learn how to nose a whisky properly, what to look for on the palate, and how the finish tells you about the cask it came from. Expect to discover a wide range of aromas and flavours, from honey, vanilla and orchard fruit to dried spice, dark chocolate, toasted oak and campfire smoke across the six drams.
Your host will guide you through each whisky, explaining how ingredients, distillation methods, cask maturation and age influence the final character in your glass.
Whether you're completely new to whisky or already an enthusiast, this guided tasting will help you build confidence in identifying flavours and describing what you experience.
