Waubs Harbour Maritime Sherry Single Malt whisky 500ml

A beautiful marriage from some of our oldest French Oak ex-Apera Sherry casks balanced perfectly with American
Oak ex-Bourbon casks to showcase our maritime environment while letting our spirit shine through.
This is no sherry bomb - it’s light yet complex and sweet but balanced. Notes of buttered fruit and golden syrup with
a mineral, maritime character.
This whisky draws from some of the very first casks we ever made, at just over 6 years old - cask #4 and cask #13.
Made, matured & bottled entirely at Waubs Harbour, just metres from the ocean on the east coast of Tas.
In 2022, as part of our Preview Series of whiskies, we released a very similar style, an Apera Bourbon whisky which
to date has continued to be one of our most highly requested whiskies so we’re thrilled to have a similar yet older
and even more elegant & complex whisky in our new Limited Release ‘Maritime Sherry’ whisky.

Nose: Red apple, apricot, almond husk, pear with a slight sea spray and woody character.
Palate: Apricot, apple and pear in syrup, buttery and biscuit notes, salted caramel with an undertone of golden syrup,
balanced by citrus and a lovely oak spice.
Finish: A bitter sweet balance between fruited syrup and kitchen spices.

One of only 619 bottles from Limited Release
