This striking single cask Midleton was drawn from a first-fill bourbon barrel that spent 25 years resting at the distillery in County Cork. A superb example of well-aged pot still whiskey, it shows notes of praline and milk chocolate with crunchy toffee apples and citrus. Subtle tannins provide structure and balance as well as warm hints of black pepper, cardamom and aged tea leaves. Only 159 bottles of this exceptional Irish whiskey will ever be released, exclusively from The Whisky Exchange and now available from World of Whisky.
