The tamed version of Ardbeg, well to a degree anyway. Ardbeg Blasda was peated to an average of 8ppm compared to the more usual 24ppm. Rather controversially the Blasda was also bottled in clear glass, at 40% and has been chill filtered, un-like Ardbeg's other releases which are typically un-chillfiltered and bottled in the iconic green bottle at 46% or above. Now discontinued and becoming increasingly difficult to find.
