Amber Lane World Chartreuse Day Masterclass 14th May

International Chartreuse Day is 16th May so join us in a world first - Yellow Chartreuse Cask Finish whisky - the highlight of this event. The spirit started in an ex-Heaven Hill Bourbon cask for about 4 years, with 7 months in the Chartreuse cask. The only whisky in the world EVER finished in a Chartreuse cask and with an out turn of only 230 bottles

Rod Berry from Amber Lane will be taking us through a blending class using samples direct from three barrels - one Oloroso, one PX and one Apera.

Also on deck will be Liquid Amber, which was rated Australia’s equal best single malt at the IWSC 2024 with a score of 95/100.

We will also sample Silk Lane, the little brother of Silk Road, which was a huge success (highest polling of all Australian whiskies at the Whisky List Shows in 2023, Golds at San Francisco, the ADSA 2023 and RASA 2023.
